Last Stand in Honky Land

We live in the country Reagan left
Slapped together in nineteen eighty three
By discount labor, clear cut forestry,
And additional ecologic theft...
Marketed like some Christmas free for all
At the edge of black Friday parking lots,
Those mephitic oceans for rolling yachts,
Surrounding the otherwise defunct mall
Unless...you are forever twenty one
Dating Orange Julius on a stick
Where monoculture is not yet undone
By some demographic Walmart trick
Snuck in under the Wonder Bread sun
Right in front of every gringo hick.
