My Ben
Ah, such a name brings me joy.
Makes me smile, like the sun.
To not be treated as a toy,
To not have to hide and run!
My sweetest of heart is for you,
My emotions running wild,
My feelings are very true,
And this sensation isn't mild.
You make me giggle, laugh, and smile,
Make me feel like a woman,
Make me feel worthwhile.
Is it okay to feel so human?
I was scared at first of your embrace,
Wouldn't let you touch me,
I made you follow me, made you chase,
I can finally clearly see.
My life was so empty and lonely,
When you weren't by my side.
And I realized you're my one and only,
You make life worth the ride.
I once left you because I was stupid,
And I was alone and broken.
I acted like a spoiled kid,
And yet you took me back again.
My dear Ben,
Don't cry, I won't leave.
I promise I won't leave again,
I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve.
I love you,
I really mean it,
Though I'm nothing new,
Our pieces just fit.
Makes me smile, like the sun.
To not be treated as a toy,
To not have to hide and run!
My sweetest of heart is for you,
My emotions running wild,
My feelings are very true,
And this sensation isn't mild.
You make me giggle, laugh, and smile,
Make me feel like a woman,
Make me feel worthwhile.
