Deboned Fish
Giving up my shine with Satanic verses
flooding the maze of my mind
with the ghosts of Shiloh
listening to winds over barren ground
cursing the vines harvested
bound to the earth
as mad men rant with glass phalluses
living in Pompeii turning to ashes
of insanity erupting
as dark is assembling sticking to everything
picking the sheaves clean planting the seed
now in the cold naked as deboned fish
