Raven's Crow Bar

Kaw-Liga was a wooden Indian
but a fool would say a statue
and not a totem made from a tree
but its spirit still lingers
when I scribble poetry
my philosophy and southernese
from the land of okra in my heart
using Tabasco as my ink
but a fool would say a statue
and not a totem made from a tree
at the Raven's Crow Bar
