Closure and Memory
Closure and Memory
The wind had
not even dragged
across the threshold.
There was
no waiting
to be free
to speak,
to feel empowered
enough
to take control
from within.
Everything
became forgotten,
and the other shoe
cast the first
of its many
shadows.
The wind had
not even dragged
across the threshold.
There was
no waiting
to be free
to speak,
to feel empowered
enough
to take control
from within.
Everything
became forgotten,
and the other shoe
cast the first
of its many
shadows.
