You perfectly captured the energy of a panic attack in this piece. I don’t think I took a breath until I finished ready it. Why is something that’s supposed to be innate so difficult to do? Just breathe. If only! Great write. H🌷

I agree with Honoria. Panic attacks are distressing both for the person experiencing it and their loved ones who feel powerless to help. Nicely written, mel44.

Thank you dear Lunas Child. The empath in me hates that others are impacted by what I don’t seem to be able to control. Not in the moment anyway.
