I wondered:
How many writes -
How many
Nights
Do I have,
And if I have a purpose,
And if a purpose
Is like a
Verse, that must
Be written,
Bidden by some strange,
Grand design,
Maneuvering through time,
Through the
Mind,
Seeking to find
An affirmation of the
Designation,
Designed,
With that in mind.

Dear CO,
This made me think of my own expiration date and how well am I using my time here? What is my grand purpose? I’d like to think in some small way I’m purposeful but more often when I think too hard I get lost in my own confusion and then I just go eat. I think this poem is lovely in its own reflection for our meaning on earth and what we’ll leave behind when we are done. Great piece. H🌷
