Clockwatching
I watch the clock,
The second hand ticks.
Minutes crawl by.
And I'm torn to bits.
It's been too long,
I'm going insane.
My mind is taken.
You've invaded my brain.
I can't eat and I can't sleep,
I can't see what's right there.
I can only taste your lips,
And feel your silken hair.
I can only dream the days away,
In a reverie, in bliss.
I can only smile into space.
Never knew lust like this.
Pure want, pure need,
Pure ecstasy,
The clock ticks by,
Too slowly.
The second hand ticks.
Minutes crawl by.
And I'm torn to bits.
It's been too long,
I'm going insane.
My mind is taken.
You've invaded my brain.
I can't eat and I can't sleep,
I can't see what's right there.
I can only taste your lips,
And feel your silken hair.
I can only dream the days away,
In a reverie, in bliss.
I can only smile into space.
Never knew lust like this.
Pure want, pure need,
Pure ecstasy,
The clock ticks by,
Too slowly.
