The Angry Anteater

An angry anteater had eaten his ants

But they tickled inside him loosening his pants

Causing him to get angrier still

"Don’t do that,” he yelled. “Your lives have gone downhill

Each of you should be lying down dead

For going up my nose and into my head

Grass is much greener where you are now

Heaven, for ants, is supposed to be wow

Instead of wriggling around inside me

Just cross the Ant Bridge and you will be free

Know that your lives were not lived in vain

Lunch for me you were so I can remain

Me, I’ll continue to feed off you ants

Never again will you loosen my pants

Out with the old me, in with the new

Proud I shall be and it’s because of you

Quite a sight I will be with my fastened on jeans

Rightfully buckled by any old means

So, to you ants, I have this to say

Thank you very much for your wriggling way

Unless you can manage to find your way out

Very sorry for you but I do have some doubt

We must put an end to this conversation

Xtra train’s coming to your Heavenly nation

You’ve been the best ant meal I’ve had

Zzzz time for me and my dear Dad
