A DIFFERENT UNIVERSE
I don't understand how you take away my fears of being human and stuck on a one-way time trajectory
I can't fathom why things that bother me when I'm not with you cease to exist when I am floating in your wake
I'm lost to the notion that you fix anything that's broken- no, I am still my dented, cracked and repaired self
But to hold your delicate, determined fingers, to gently yet slightly desperately push our mouths together
To see you, to hear you, to feel you is to be alive in a different place a different time a different universe altogether
