Flower of the Night

- Flower of the Night -

Dedicated to Camilla Beatriz Flores

In the heat of the evening time, so close to summer's warmth arising...
Lost in thoughts of mystic wonder, and poetic verse, mind all swirling,
I chanced to read your words of love, proclaiming things we both feel.
Beautiful flower of the night, it is my joy to know our passion is real!
I bask in your adoration, lost in wonderment at how I might describe,
The thousand things I feel for you, which in my heart so lustily abide.
A lust for love, a love of one who for me is like unto a goddess living!
How long have I awaited your grace through such terrors unforgiving?
Beyond a thousand and more lifetimes, beyond the count of centuries,
Through many forms I walked on and on, despite so many victories...
I felt alone and lonely, a lost soul cast upon the waves of a dark ocean.
Every so often we would meet again and I felt once more old emotion!
In this life I was fortunate, to be graced twice over with your pleasure,
The pleasure of your company, your love and all that I could treasure.
Of female graces, of charms beyond naming, of all as is best to adore!
So many glories meet in your dark eyes, which I gaze upon once more.
Happy to be swept away, within the seas that lie within your glances...
Finding my haven, in your heart, where we spin about in mad dances!
You are the jewel of the ebony void, more perfect than celestial light,
My dark goddess of all magnificent splendors, my flower of the night.

The fire within me blazes on, but now its' flame has found its' twin...
Forged in passion's furious madness, made keener by our sweet sins.
Across the distances of time and space, beyond all our love endures!
A fierce and ferocious thing, primal, perfect, not ever to be demure...
Wild girl of my dreams, oh sweet succubus who has my spirit stolen,
Such satisfactions have I found, in your wildness by time unbroken!
Never shall the light delight me unless I find it in your deepest eyes.
In your embrace I find my ecstasy, lost in the rhythm of your sighs...
My hands caressing your softest skin which to my touch so commits.
And cries of pleasures without number, shared by two fallen spirits,
Such as we, who in infernal majesty have but grown in contentment.
More than words are these to me, more than any merest sentiment...
They are an oath, a pledge, a promise of devotion to my very queen!
The empress who has chanced to find me, even in our alien dreams.
I could not know this moment would come, an unforeseen blessing,
Sent by those pleasant spirits that smile, unto deep desires listening.
A thousand praises, a million kisses, are not enough to so convey...
All, that I feel for you, of which only some things I might thus say!
So these words must suffice for now, to do our passion its' justice,
Darkest flower of the night, your love sustains me and naught less.
