Dear HL,
There are poems and there are poems. This is the ladder and not the former. On many levels of personal feelings I can relate to this piece. That ache and she’ll shock sometimes of realizing I wasn’t the one. Amazing write capturing those feelings of thinking you’d connected and then not quite. H🌷
