The Blue Bird
A Blue bird sits in his cage
The door is open but he knows his place
Too afraid to leave
He wants to fly
He wants to breath
Too afraid to die
Unable to grieve
His feeding trey is full
He's given new seed
That's when the cage falls
Spreading his wings wide
Looks to the sky
He flys all night
A Blue bird sits on the highest tree branch
A thousand miles away
He's no longer afraid
He will be ok .
The door is open but he knows his place
Too afraid to leave
He wants to fly
He wants to breath
Too afraid to die
Unable to grieve
His feeding trey is full
He's given new seed
That's when the cage falls
Spreading his wings wide
Looks to the sky
He flys all night
A Blue bird sits on the highest tree branch
A thousand miles away
He's no longer afraid
He will be ok .
