From the time we are born
we are on a journey
a traveler on a road
at some point we will come to a fork
and have to make a decision
which road to take
It is these decisions that
make us who we are

You can lie to others
you can even lie to yourself
but if someone was to look at
a map of the roads you have taken
they would know who you are

This book is about one such road

I was cruising down life's highway
sun shining ,warm with a slight breeze
perfect traveling weather
when I can across a sign
It said Cancer ahead
I looked in the rearview
but there was no going back
suddenly it got very dark
and began to rain
