Image for the poem Greed

Greed

I've never been so hungry,
said the woman to the left,
her girlfriends' arms and hands
gently restraining her.

Her eyes are wide
with jealousy and fear.
The spirit unseen flies overall,
conferring what she's hungry for.

The greed of those who'd seize it
for themselves... piercing
the feathered breast
with arrowed eyes, gleaming.

Author's Note
This poem was written for the competition "Visual Poetry #greed"*, but after following the instructions for how to submit a visual poem** I found that the text had been swallowed by the image somehow.

I don't know how to create a visual poem and therefore cannot enter the competition, so have re-posted the poem with visual accompaniment. Any guidance on how to create a visual poem would be appreciated.
