Sir Topp'im Hat

A brand new topper for the toff    
was revealed on Christmas Eve    
and though deplorables may scoff    
It's all because they preconceive    
that anyone who wears a hat  
must look as though they drive a truck.
   
But, of rural fashion format,    
a dandy does not give a fuck    
since men in redneck uniforms,    
and the bigotry that they sell,    
are some of the required norms    
for old confederates in hell.    
 
No, a top hat is not as cheap    
as what crackers and rappers wear    
but under it esteem will keep    
right by the lofty thinking there...  
about good deeds by stealth I've tried,  
and, where else would my halo hide?
