Loving Myself

Hot picture. Your naked body is very hot.  Keep on writing you wild sexy woman.

I like the almost perfect rhyming of 'behind' and 'mine' gives this short verse a flow off the tongue reading it aloud.  
 
I rejoice in the happiness you have (in more than one sense) in your skin which your daughter seems to have inherited.   You look as good (if not better) than your rival in the picture subject of your earlier poem 'I Still Blush'. Sock it to 'em, Nizana!    
        
I could totally relate to the words of your poem. It took me until near 60 to be happy with the body I was in, being looked down on (sometimes literally) in school years, having had health issues (I didn't get to drive until 36 after being diagnosed epileptic at 18 and had 3 minor scares at 59) and a few unrequited relationships. However I have had some kind understanding friendships among the opposite sex that have helped me not write myself off. Also finding my own place to live at 57 after living with other and older (and I felt at time unsympathetic) relatives has helped my confidence at being independent. I have never smoked, drank little alcohol, have cycled and walked more years of my adult life than most peers and still exercise now so I have that on my side too.     
       
I acknowledge DUP has had its part in my own healing journey over the past decade, having made a range of online friends. An earlier poem (link below) likens it to a nude beach where one can't help but want to be in the water as those you see and respect are.

But..?

Those who don't love themselves end up hating themselves.

When that happens the outcome can be tragic.

If all people lived and embraced self love there would be harmony and peace without any use of force through violence & war.
