From The Ashes

From the blackened, smouldering sky, there are lightning flashes
Rolling thunder rumbling, as the passed emerge, from the ashes
Odious apparitions, seemingly appear, like a nightmare's thought
Meandering amongst the ruins, now the domain of the necronaut
There's nothing there, but a gentle sigh, of an unbreathable wind
Hauntingly hollow, in an eddying smog, of an old world re-sinned
Ephemeral electricity discharges, as if from Aether's heaven sent
Arcing to the scorched Earth, in an illuminating, dantean descent
Soot and cinders swirl, from the ashes, esse from a quondam life
Haplessly drifting, in the eternal storm, where the otherside's, rife
Eden was vaporised, it was beyond the reach, of righteous oaths
Sometimes shadows are cast though, but they're cast, by ghosts
