Our Nuclear Winter

Our father who art in heaven, unhallowed and in vain
Usurper of immorality, our depravity, turned to shame
Razing all yours before us, into cinders, ash and dust
Nadir of our existence, reduced to embers of mistrust
Unworthy, as we are, please reveal the righteous way
Come, to us, lord creator and forgive us for our affray
Lead us, almighty one, even though we tried to tinker
End what we have started here, in our nuclear winter
Alas, god died with us, although we didn't even know
Returning to pious scriptures, as fallout fell like snow
With impunity we killed, it was blessed by his officials
In the unholy war, of intercontinental ballistic missiles
No one here is alive now and even Satan, died alone
There's just used ordnance and a carcass of a drone
Every sectarian word, or rite, turned heaven into hell
Ravaging the world around us, a story we'll not retell
