She entered my life
touched me, gently
throughout the night
Daydreaming?!
She can’t just be
a dream to me –
Virtual Reality!?
It cannot be!!!!
Maybe it’s loneliness
I’ve allowed my
subconscious
to run rife & ruin
No longer
neither lament nor care
if my body disappears
long as I can stay
ever in
the
dream

Just read this in the challenge, Tallen. A solid entry which addresses all of your chosen themes and more. Personal reality is a thin slab of cracked ice that could break at any moment under expectation's weight.
