Hopeless Romantics

There was always something so nostalgic about a song
But this one gets me everytime
Not sure if it was because the first time I heard it
I was lonely
Of if it was because I felt secluded in my own thoughts
But what was a young teenage boy to do?

And yet Ronnie’s voice seemed to reach the soul
For those hopeless romantics
Like timeless classics
I loved hearing it
And it ached in my heart

This is for those who seek the love of their life
Who dream of the perfect mate
Fate tends to have a different set of plans
A path we never imagined
But one that makes us grow
