Ha ha ha staying alive
Mirror balls
glittering reflections
in the disco
after-party
of a evening
at the Drive In
back when it wasn't a
food court
-the real big screen
that you watched
from the back seat
of a Chevy
Drinking a milkshake
bought from the
Mini skirt
on
roller skates
We all looked like James Dean
hair slicked in Bryl-Creem
a packet of twenny
tucked in the sleeve
of a too tight
white Tee
Bell bottoms the order
for the acid-trip
and vacations
just a moment
to judge
Bikinis
and throw
Frisbees
Truth is cost us next
to nothing
we were just
stayin'
alive
