Image for the poem One Who Knows

One Who Knows

Neon embers smolder
Holy wood sap
Sacred oil into soil
Bubbling with breath

Refulgent traces
In the horizon
Like a memory
Transmigrating

In the secret
Of the stars
Fanned by
Feathers

Compelling the trance
Eyes crowned
By an endless line
Of paint
Staining drips of finger tips
Falling into
Remnants of the night

Gazed
In
A maze of stars

Backdropped
In
Blue

Indigo electricity
Indulging

In the audacity

To know

Author's Note
In the Nahuatl language
the word Shaman translates to:

[One who knows].

I just really like that very much.

Was thinking of that.
