No good at poetry
I'm no good at poetry I guess it's just not for me
It may be a way to convey one's thoughts
A tool to upload all sorts
May be a means to open my heart
But I wouldn't know how to start
What goes where and does it rhyme
I couldn't do it I've not got the time
All these thoughts ill keep within
If written on paper will end up in the bin
Ide like to be creative and write something down
I'm too afraid I'll look like a clown
So I think its clear to see

According to who? Poetry is just an all inclusive label. The substance that branches out in emotion and being able to relate to one another is in the words that you write in honesty. If I walked up to you and said the word Poetry and nothing else, then walked away, you would call me crazy. However if I walked up to you and said "where the broken were bathed in light"
No rhyme needed, you automatically get a visual, either through experience of your own that relates, or the description alone is feelable. Your "poetry" is not and expectation, it's an experience, and you are a great writer! 😊
