Landscape around me beautiful
In it’s painful demise
The world crumbling all around me
Saying it’s goodbyes
The pain in this chest too real
To be anything less than

For losing what could have been

The same ground that crumbles
Around my feet this moment
Watching you walk away
Knowing it was the right move

The scenery is so serene

Braving the storms
Deciding this journey is worth
