Ella
As though I were a child in Disneyland
I swore she was a princess
Donning armor of baggy shirts
a crown of red box dye
The knight of the passenger seat,
Behind soft smiles and red eyes
there's a queen in disguise
Beneath thin hands and makeup
A scarred child hides
Can you slay your beast
Or die at its feet?
Stay, Ella
Slay, Ella
I swore she was a princess
Donning armor of baggy shirts
a crown of red box dye
The knight of the passenger seat,
Behind soft smiles and red eyes
there's a queen in disguise
Beneath thin hands and makeup
A scarred child hides
Can you slay your beast
Or die at its feet?
Stay, Ella
Slay, Ella
