When She's Driving

There’s something
about the arch of your spine
that holds me mesmerized.
At the beginning,
your fluent movement languid…slow.
Your body basks in the connection.
And then…
the ache builds within you.
Need claws at you
Your tempo increases
Your desperately reaching
Getting closer…closer to fulfillment
When the moment arrives, you bow
I lose myself in the vision
Eyes riveted on the image in the mirror
 staring back at me.
I don’t even acknowledge I came
Too caught up in being taken for a ride
