Self immolation
Burning to Be
All observe the square with what moves,
May it be man or his machines,
Until one finds a spot that proves
Might must reflect on what it means.
There amid the menace displayed
Strides the gentle sort wanting not
To bother being ever weighed
By petty burdens poor forgot.
Once arriving at his proud place,
Where at last life asks him to seek
His shelter in his flames to face
The spirit that the fire does speak.
His calm calls all to question why
What control does to now deserve
The heed he wants without a cry
To ever claim what God to serve.
Pour the progress so riches reflect
The good standing their sort should chase
To stalk the quarry that perfects
The mere measure of the real race.
