As I was reading
Andrew Marvell's
"To His Coy Mistress"
for I've forgotten
how many times, it
dawn on me that
YOU
are a COY person:
a pretending, shy,
modest, reserved, and
alluring soul just
waiting to say YES.
YOU
love to tease, conduct
alluring pull aways;
fain a surprise when
you touch the prize
or have your prize touched.
YES,
I love your coy ways, it
make our meetings at
the Kissing Place so much
more exciting...Please coy me.

😆 I’d read To His Coy Mistress before but not in quite awhile. For some reason I find it more amusing now than in my younger days. Thanks for sending me that direction. I find it interesting the poetic ways lust can beg to hurry. The song title it reminds me of slips my mind but it’s another of those poetic, “just, let’s do it already!” pleas. Cheers ☺️
