Web of lies.
I'm sorry your web of lies,
Caught me by surprise.
Do you do this a lot?
Was it only a matter of time,
Until I pulled away the twisted dry skin.
Clinging to my soul.
I threw it towards that web.
So that when you go to write another lie,
Into that web.
You'll know,
You've peeled me.
You've skinned me alive.
Leaving me open,
To the painful force of the wind.
I'm so sorry,
You caught me by surprise.
Caught me by surprise.
Do you do this a lot?
Was it only a matter of time,
Until I pulled away the twisted dry skin.
Clinging to my soul.
I threw it towards that web.
So that when you go to write another lie,
Into that web.
You'll know,
You've peeled me.
You've skinned me alive.
Leaving me open,
To the painful force of the wind.
I'm so sorry,
You caught me by surprise.
