YES, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT

THANKS

I'm minding my own
business, darting
in and out of dreams,
mind drifting to
distant places and
fawn memories;
THEN,
there you are!
At first, causing a freeze
"I can't believe it" reaction
in every nerve and fiber
of the real, very real me.
As you walk toward me
my face blushes, my
nervous energy shoots
of the charts, and my
friend living in the
half-way area of
my human-being leaps
and longs to escape;
I casually try to pet him
and try to get him settled down;
to no avail, he only reacts more.
YOU
take my hand and ask,
"Are you ready to go home
with me?"
In trembling lips I,
YES, YES PLEASE.
All that happened that
night was your fault.
Yes, we can talk about it
and do it again at the Kissing
Place.
OKAY?
