Yes. Directly addressed or otherwise. We must always Strive for the truer side of honesty. In that direction, we will always be moved to try to see better, to try for increases in the scope of the respect toward others we are able to extend, and to more lovingly to understand those who we ourselves would "Other." Revision of self toward that better striving is always a process of continuation upon prior steps. Each prior step an (sometimes agonizingly) small one is how it usually is. Within self evolution we build upon betterment, and hope for increases in the momentum of the same.

At the same time, we must give ourselves latitude to speak, no matter either directly nor indirectly, and to not so be hung up on perfect beingness that we allow ourselves to risk no dischord. Never censor yourself solely because of obsessive politeness, or the risk that it may hurt someone's feelings. Often times "Hurt feelings" amount to nothing more than "Offended sensibilities." As the queerest person on the planet, I will say this out loud, and I do say it very very Out-Loud, "Fuck Sensibilities." Especially the sensibilities of "the bearded ones." I'm sure you know of whom i speak. You really do gotta allow yourself latitude to Offend.. .Sometimes. Otherwise, you've just neutered yourself in the wrong kind of way.
