Where Do We Go When We Die? Mother/Daughter Notes (3)
These notes are from when my daughter was 6. Sometimes her questions were hard.
Dear Mommy
Where was I before I was in your tummy?
Dear Daughter
You didn’t exist until you were in my tummy.
You were born in 1999 and have been living since then.
You were like a special gift to the world.
That’s part of the reason your daddy and I love you so much.
Dear Mommy
Where do we go when we die?
Dear Daughter
A lot of smart people have wondered about that.
I think we go back to where we were before we were in our mothers'
tummies.
We go from not existing to living and then back to not existing again.
We should live as much as we can while we’re alive.
I’m happy with that plan.
That’s part of the reason I love you so much.
