YOUR THUNDER
You want a song again
I’ll write it
You might cry again
Might fight it
Will the cause and affect the same
I wonder
Will your hands reach out again
With thunder
Wait,
you said something
You never knew you did that
Came into the room with hunger
Eyes wild and blazing like a hunter
Boom and crash
You’re telling me you never heard
Your thunder
You want to touch again
I can’t let you
You might be mad again
Might throw those words out
Will you hear me when I say
I’m sorry
Will you feel the same
With sorrow
Wait,
you said something
You never knew you did that
Came into the room with hunger
Eyes wild and blazing like a hunter
Boom and crash
You’re telling me you never heard
Your thunder
You want to feel again
I know you want to
You might move on and then
Might learn to love again
Will you have learned a thing
I wonder
Will you learn to curb that thing
Your thunder
Wait, you said something
Did I hear my name in there
You never knew you did that
Never knew how I felt
Came into the room with hunger
And woke me from my slumber
Eyes wild and blazing like a hunter
Demands high in numbers
Boom and crash
Take what you want then relax
You’re telling me you never heard
Never heard
Your thunder
