The Phoenix

I know when your phoenix fires and flames
It rises: life's revitalised again,
You realise desires, and, thus, the grains
Achieve revival from which we both gain;

I understand the blackness like the owl:
I know when your phoenix fires and flames,
And comprehend your dark lust: every growl,
You make: indulgence instantly explains;

I gather up first light, as the lark claims
Its ownership of early, while your arm,
I know when your phoenix fires and flames,
Will hold me down and fuck me with forced charm;

I choke in dust, whenever your hawk flies,
And gather feathers to cloak all my shames;
Surrender to your cock's complete. Arise:
I know when your phoenix fires and flames.
