Relish in Obedience
Pieces of you lie about
worn layers discarded
repced by ones that
do not love.
Unloving does not fit
the space left empty
Disrespect shines off
the reflection on the tops
of your shiny shoes
You, your own best enemy
stares up at you
Gripping, skin stripped
bare bone you gather
bonding what doesnt feel right
You've crawled to the depths
of self-gratification.
It destroys, every good thing
about you,
Digging through the rusty
bottom of filth trenching
with your bare hands
through the deepest parts
of your mind
You reappear
To bedazzle me
with your sequined smile.
Your rich patina drags me on through uour tarnished layers
of deceit you look back
as I gnaw on your
fucked up ways like
a starving dog chewing
on its own leg.
A sick act of obedience
I sit by your side waiting
for you to vomit more hatred
You relish in it waiting to
hear me say
amen
followed by an
amen
