it just hides the

i rather have the
darkness and a
good smoke

I like the point of view in this poem. I thought about certain events I wish were never brought to my attention. Keeping them in the dark somehow would have protected me from a whole lot of pain. Alas…you have wonderfully expressed this feeling. Fantastic write. H🌷
