Lighthouse

Lighthouse

I love your tangled messy hair
The way your eyes look after you wake
Don't wipe away the sleepies yet, baby, you are always beautiful

Like a counterweight to my bad dreams
An anchor, so I don't float away
Into the darkness of the sea

Like a light in the distance I follow
The constelation I keep starboard
Like a Lighthouse showing me to the shore
In clearest night or heaviest downpour
You are the port in any storm, darling
I seek you like fire, your comfort, your warmth
You sit with me next to the sea
You bring me peace
You tell me just breathe

Just breathe
Just breathe
This will all pass
Just breathe
Just breathe
I'm here
Just breathe
Just...

I love the way you rub my chest
When I'm not feeling well in my head
When bad thoughts have me under arrest
And I'm not going quietly
I love you hold my hand through this
Duress which tests our endurance
I'm blessed at times, I must confess
Those moments are when your next to me

And I look at your beautiful face
Kissed and glowing by the suns rays
A sight which sets my heart ablaze
Despite last nights dreamt dismay
For fear cannot be what I obey
I have a love I wish to stay
Maybe enough to make a heathen pray
Yet every day feels like the last day
You still love me in every way
Your actions speak in stunning arrays
Like light through prisms, a beautiful display

My hearts a stone skipped across the lake
Darling I'm scared with every leap we take
But I know in my heart of hearts we'll be okay
Nothing worth having lacks risks to pay
And I'll pay with a pound of flesh for our sake
Every morning as you drive away
I remain standing in the walkway
As I catch your smile in the mirror as your underway
Your azure eyes and smile start my day

It's the little things that makes our love opaque
Your heart is something I never wish to break
This life is somthing I wish to make
Your dreams are what I wish to sate
A future in us I what I state
Be good to One, Another, is all it takes

I love you
Beyond all words
I could never...
Express it...
