These brown eyes  
staring back at me  
untouched and unfazed  
Time has slowly passed  
 I wonder how she feels  
on the other side of the glass  
For all I see  
it's just the same Ole me  
 
My conscience is my naked truth  
I will never see myself  
The way others do  
 
gazing at the water  
My world is upside down  
I rather be alone  
than around a faceless crowd  
Im thinking out loud  
Maybe I am becoming selfish  
It's my own image that  
I'm obsessed with  
 
Mirror mirror on the wall  
You've shown me how I shine like a star  
Even with visible scars  
Uplifting sights of imperfections  
Through every portal of  
Curse and blessing  
I'm looking deeper to find  
my true reflection……………….
