Moments Of Time
Can I forgive you?
Only time can tell.
The moments I want to forget seem to always linger in time, but the moments I cherished are fading and cloudy, but my mind wants to refine.
My breath in the morning I used to dread, but now I realize it’s the beginning of what lies ahead.
Waiting for my feelings of anguish to fade, but they have taken up residence and chosen to stay.
Glimpses of joy come and go, but those are the moments I just want to hold. If my life was for sale no one would buy it because my life doesn’t have any value, or is it you just can’t afford it.
Only time can tell where I go from here, my heart beats faster now with every tear.
I surrender myself to what this life has to offer for me, it’s just taken me longer to open my eyes to see.
Only time can tell.
