Donald Trump never was president
just a faild reality TV star
there was no insurrection
because we're all grown ups
Bernie Sanders was elected
and everyone accepted the results
we now have universal healthcare
and big business pays their fair share
all the liars and cheats
have been shamed out of Washington
and best of all
we're all flying in cars!
no one wears mask
because we believe in science
so Covid was easily combated
grandma and grandpa are still alive
Sarah Palin went into porn
where she actually was useful for once
we have learned to love our naighbores
there are no riots
no fires or cancel culture
mercy is still a thing
the church has admitted their faults
said they'll never lie to us again
and best of all
we're all flying in cars!
the world is still fucked
but we have set the example
because the lines aren't so vast
red or blue is just a flip of a coin
nothing feels personal anymore
Twitter and Facebook went bankrupt
we now use apps for our mental stability
any comments are a simple agree or disagree
oh, and did I mention?

It is a sad truth. As I was writing this i was thinking it was a poem that has something to piss off most people lol. A lot of truth. And really a refection on our mistakes.

This is sooo creative and yes, a very sad truth.. but man I was giggling.... I've been so disillusioned recently, I needed some laughs like this. Deep down I know it's not funny.. I know. but I had to take a break from the bs that makes me so furious... lol.... Thanks for the levity AND spilling huge truth, too.
