Rhymed poetry is often trivialized. But writing it is a puzzle and an exercise, and reading it can be such a pleasure.

In my opinion, it is the more typical rhymed poetry, that is trivialized...
But I think the more atypical rhyme schemes can facilitate interesting innovations.
I genuinely believe that the modern mind has been heavily influenced by hip - hop.
Hip - hop and computer chips. hahaha.
Well...
I got the idea for this write...
I think I was listening to J Cole?
And I just thought about how
the punch lines really shine in the mind,
and how I might incorporate that into the poetry,
to give a musical mechanism, but not as in sound,
but as in the deep, mathematical format, that
resonates on conscious and subconscious levels,
of both the writer and the reader,
Specifically the modern mind.
But like...
For me...
It really feels so good,
like it vibes.
We want to say things.
We see something.
It can be conveyed in so very many ways.
I read recently how, essentially, there
is nothing new under the sun.
Like...
Everything sort of goes back to the classics,
to the stanzas.
I do see this point...
but then...
My mind tells me that everything is
constantly born anew, through each of us...
and there will always be innovations to be made.
