Abysmal Reflections

A space of absence
Is a facade of nothingness

To

Hide

My

Face,

Divide my countenance,

Into segments
Of

Nothingness,
In a quest of questions:

Do I even exist -
And if so
Is there a meaning

To all
Of

This?

Staring into the abyss,
The abyss stared back at me

In an endless
Shape,

O shaped lips from a void of shapelessness,
To say this:

[Existence is consciousness -
Consciousness is existence.]

Author's Note
Inspired by "Le Miroir" by LDF.

(I was just thinking about how I went for a decade without looking
In a mirror.

There was no mirror. Or rather, it was a scratched up distortion,
If there was one...

And...

I sort of turned it into a magical operation, to be honest.

I always seek to take the things around me
and incorporate them into the process of empowerment and magic.

But even now...

Well like...

The other day when I was dancing in the mirror was
the first time I have looked in the mirror in ten fucking years mane.)
