I often wonder about the basic functions and interactions of the various brain sectors, our basal ganglia with its hard wired threat detection, how we so unfairly sum up others, who are unknowable, as part of this autonomic function, the neocortex like a crown of perspective reasoning overtop, how the whole functions together to create this higher functioning animal that, so often, holds so much hurt and warps into so much wrong.
