Past life
I’m my younger days
I never thought about outcomes
Of choices i made
Just living in the moment
Soaking every moment up
Never realizing the truth
Enjoying the attention
Rather it was good or bad
Not realizing the effects that it would cause
Wanting attention from some
Pushing others away
Causing unimaginable problems
Truly no reason behind any of it
Don’t even know how it started
Lasting only a few years
Only to cause irreversible damage
Struggling to survive
For unknown reasons
Keeping the wrong around me
Pushing away love
Still struggling in silence
Memories and thoughts take space
Am i still paying for my decisions?
Will it take the most important thing away?
I can only wait and see
Hoping for the best
Dealing with my past that won’t loosen up

There is a strong sense of guilt here but the poem nevertheless reminds me of this song:
