Time Shift
Time shift, 13-2-13
Time slips quietly away
Each day dissolving
Grayness, sameness
Quietly shimmering
Hazy rain shading soft sunlight
Through the mist
I see, I smell, I feel
Light rays
Squinting through
Long sweet strands
Hair curling, sliding gliding
Gently touching
Like graceful water
Floating between my fingers
I inhale and embrace that essence
Lips quivering
Excitement and anticipation
Explode
As our universe erupts in ecstasy
Time slips quietly away
Each day dissolving
Grayness, sameness
Quietly shimmering
Hazy rain shading soft sunlight
Through the mist
I see, I smell, I feel
Light rays
Squinting through
Long sweet strands
Hair curling, sliding gliding
Gently touching
Like graceful water
Floating between my fingers
I inhale and embrace that essence
Lips quivering
Excitement and anticipation
Explode
As our universe erupts in ecstasy
