Kiss Me Darling, It's Christmas

There's a yuletide log on the fire
A mug of spiced eggnog in my hand
The tree has a thousand ornaments
One with a bright golden band
It has the date that the two of us got married
The date when our true lives began
There's mistletoe hanging in the archway
And I'll get you under it when I can

Chorus::
Kiss me darling, it's Christmas
Your all I want for the holidays
Doesn't matter if my presents are empty boxes
As long as I'm holding you always
Kiss me darling, it's Christmas
It doesn't matter where we are
You're all I've ever needed or wanted
You're my shining Christmas star

We traded snow for warmer weather
Some say Christmas will never be the same
But it's still cold enough to snuggle close
In front of the fireplaces searing flame
And I tell you every day that I love you
More than I ever thought I could
We've grown so close together
And your lips are looking deliciously good

Chorus
