The Fall of it All (Lilacs Revisited)
Cycling winds shift swift
In eddies
At the outer edges of this complex vortex,
To
Foment a fragment of moments,
Tranquil -
In the will of the elements,
To construct, as an architect in the architecture
Of verdure
Lost,
As the ember of November
Carries the breeze
That sees
Through the transparencies
Of the trees,
To the other side of organic astral bodies,
Swaying – saying:
Nothing really ever dies,
Even as tears in eyes
Crystalize,
In omens of ice,
Where once there was lilacs in golden rays
As
All things are a process,
Of
Person
To
Person,
Mind
To
Mind,
Heart
To
Heart,
&
All things know how to grow in the fall of it all.
