I thought it was very smart and insightful to end this on a question. It keeps a reader thinking.

Dear R,
This poem has absolutely called to task all of my shortcomings (the ones I can readily remember at any rate).
“ The images we pass off to others
The insecurities we hide behind” for years my basic MO. Still doing it.
“ There's a whole lot of lies that go into living” big, little and every other size in between.
I’m not pasting the last line of this awesome write because I’d be disappointed in my answer.
