Deployment
And this is how my day starts.
Up at five something in the morning.
Hair pushed to one side
From the constant pressure
Of sleep.
Disoriented
and stumbling
Barely able to collect
my thoughts
Yet here I stand
At full attention
Ready to salute.
Just me
My spit
And over
One hundred million
Soldiers ready for deployment.
Up at five something in the morning.
Hair pushed to one side
From the constant pressure
Of sleep.
Disoriented
and stumbling
Barely able to collect
my thoughts
Yet here I stand
At full attention
Ready to salute.
Just me
My spit
And over
One hundred million
Soldiers ready for deployment.
